Belfast-based solicitors receive national recognition in leading legal guide

Thompsons NI Solicitors has been independently recognised as a leading provider of personal injury and employment rights legal services by Chambers and Partners, in its 2019 guide.

Chambers and Partners ranks the best individual lawyers and law firm departments across the globe, and is considered to be one of the most accurate and reliable sources of top quality lawyers and law firms.

The Belfast-based firm ranked in band one for plaintiff-only personal injury and employment rights law in the 2019 guide, with the team being described as “experienced and knowledgeable, and habitually achieving optimal outcomes."

Head of department Oonagh McClure featured as a ranked lawyer for plaintiff personal injury, recognising her work representing trade union and private clients in workplace accidents and occupational disease claims. She is joined in the guide by colleague George Kilpatrick who is singled out as a “very strong advocate for trade union members” with “encyclopaedic employment law knowledge”.

Oonagh McClure said: “We are delighted to have been recognised by Chambers and Partners. It is a credit to our team’s hard work and commitment to representing injured or mistreated people from across Northern Ireland.

“A ranking from Chambers demonstrates to our clients – past, present and future - our peers and stakeholders that we are trustworthy, reliable and get excellent results; exactly what you want from a personal injury law and employment rights firm.”
