Thompsons NI representing more than 50 women over mesh surgery complications

Over 50 women negatively affected by mesh surgery are being represented by Thompsons NI.

In many cases, the women affected were not advised of the potential risks association with the mesh surgery. Therefore, Thompsons NI have sent letters initiating the claims to Health Trusts.

Oonagh McClure, Senior Asbestos and Medical Negligence Solicitor at Thompsons NI said: “Unfortunately there is no one currently in Northern Ireland in a position to completely remove the mesh so these women are having to make ECR applications to be seen by consultants in England.”
