The Child Brain Injury Trust (CBIT) has recently launched a new self-refer and support app to assist young people and family members dealing with a brain injury. The app offers information and provides details of additional services that are available to people affected by brain injuries.

Thompsons NI is the legal partner for CBIT in Northern Ireland and provides advice and legal support to young people and carers.

Oonagh McClure, regional manager partner of Thompsons NI, said: “We are delighted to be able to offer legal assistance to children, young people and families affected by brain injuries.

"Litigation can be, for many, a difficult process and for those affected by a brain injury it is often overwhelming. We understand the need to support our clients throughout the process and to bring matters to a conclusion as speedily as possible.”
